I can't believe I am now 70 - this just doesn't seem possible! Our move to Mexico in July 2015, actually a year before our target date has been one of the best decisions of our lives. It really works to set goals and make them happen. Although officially retired, in addition to my charity work, I do work providing on-site management for conferences and exhibitions in major cities across the US. This follows a career in International event management – running my own company when I lived in the UK. If I had to describe myself in 25 words or less, I’d have to say, inquisitive with a google addiction, wife to a Brit and also a British citizen. I'm a self-developement addict, a constant list maker addicted to my Bullet Journal, and I can't get enough of new and fun crafts, sewing and arts. I’m a voracious reader and love world history and thriller novels. My husband and I both have a passion for International travel and have traveled to far too many countries to count (although it was 38 at last count). A recent return to Madrid for my birthday has given me a desire to already return. I also have too many hobbies to keep up with so sometimes they lay forgotten when life gets too crazy. Exercising is my nemesis. But I realize that in order to keep my blood pressure and cholesterol within a reasonable range although I’d rather do anything other than exercise.
I started this blog because I want to connect with other positive and passionate women my age who believe that we are only getting better with age. I find that I learn so much from listening to others so please join me on my blog journey.
Just wanted to let you know once again you are my Shero, can't wait to be like you when I grow up. Wishing you many more happy adventures in life.
